re: Tide FB Recruiting & Roster ~ 2020 National Champions!!!
Yes Shane Lee. I was rooting for him but with the guys we have brought in and will bring in i think he is gone. Would love for him to stick around because i thi k Moody will be a senior next year and Harris more than likely goes to the league.

Ranking the Contenders: Four-star DB Terrion Arnold

quote:

Tallahassee (Fla.) John Paul II Catholic defensive back Terrion Arnold eliminated LSU and Texas A&M from his list last week. Now he is focused on three SEC powers: Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Arnold is not going to tip his hand, and he plans to take his decision all the way to Feb. 3, so there will be a lot of speculation on where he ends up in the coming weeks.

This appears to be a very tight race, and Arnold plans to visit each campus once more before making his decision. So, where does he sit entering the second full week of January? The top school may surprise some.

It's a Rivals article so you can guess who they think leads for him.

1. GEORGIA

What puts Georgia on top? It is about putting the different pieces of information together more than anything. Arnold is not going to say much to tip his hand, but he has gotten close to Kirby Smart, he has a strong relationship with new Georgia signee Xavian Sorey and someone has to be the favorite. There is a big need in the secondary, too, and Arnold sees the opportunity in Athens to play right away. Is that really a big factor? Maybe. Maybe not. Because Arnold is good enough to play early for any of his finalists.

Shocker.

2. FLORIDA

The Gators are the in-state school, and many do feel Florida may be the favorite heading into the final weeks of this battle. He is very familiar with the Swamp, he has numerous relationships there despite the recent turnover on the defensive side of the ball and he knows a lot of players that signed with and play for Florida. The Gators have a strong defensive back group heading to Gainesville in 2021, and Arnold may want to be the final piece of that group. He has called Florida home many times when referencing Gainesville in interviews, so if comfort plays a big factor, that may give the Gators an edge.

3. ALABAMA

Alabama has not been talked about enough. The Crimson Tide are signing what some consider a historic-type class in 2021, and although the numbers are very tight in Tuscaloosa, Arnold knows he has a spot if he wants to be part of it. Nick Saban is highly involved here, as are outside linebackers coach Sal Sunseri, associate defensive coordinator Charles Kelly and others on the Alabama staff. The development and production at Alabama speaks for itself, and Arnold sees himself playing on Sundays one day.

FINAL ANALYSIS

You could flip a coin, rearrange these three schools however you choose, and you likely would have a case. That tells you how close this race is and how Arnold has many still guessing. Some feel Arnold has already made a decision, while others think this could be changing up until he signs. That is the way he wants it. He plays things extremely close to the vest, he is putting a lot of effort and thought into his decision, and he could end up in Tuscaloosa, Gainesville or Athens. At this time, none of those choices would be a surprise, and all three are going all in for one of the top defensive backs in this class.

Ten can't-miss prospects in the 2021 class

quote:

JC Latham

Overview: Latham is a massive and mobile offensive tackle who started his playing career on the defensive line but found he could take over on the other side of the line. The five-star picked Alabama over LSU, Ohio State, Georgia and many others in June. The Crimson Tide have produced so many elite offensive tackles during Nick Saban’s career, and Latham has a very good chance to be in that special group.

Farrell’s take: I haven’t seen too many offensive tackles that look better out of high school than Latham, and since he’s on only his second year as an OT, the sky is the limit.

re: Tide FB Recruiting & Roster ~ 2020 National Champions!!!
quote:

Dallas Turner

Overview: Turner committed to Alabama over Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma and many others. He is another major pledge for Nick Saban and his staff, who do a great job developing outstanding edge rushers. The five-star should do just that for the Crimson Tide as Turner has excellent speed, he’s adding weight and the South Florida prospect should be yet another outstanding addition to this class.

Farrell’s take: Some say Turner can disappear at times, but I disagree. He’s going to be the next great hybrid in the Alabama defense. Just watch.

I heard Farrel yesterday on the radio and he such a clown. They were talking about Mac Jones. First he said Rivals was the only that considered him one of the top QBs in the class and when asked about the other services even made fun of them. Then he goes on and says Jones will not be a good Qb in the NFL. He will make the league but basically not have much of a career.

Farrell is pregnant with Trevor Lawrence's baby so he can't think straight.

I think Mac's legendary status is secure. With that being him coming back is my biggest dream and nightmare cause as ToD said we would almost be guaranteed to lose Bryce. But there less than a tenth of a 1% chance he comes back. He did say on GMA his mom is going to make the decision though .

Mack may be going higher in the NFL draft as you could see a NE picking at 15 ,Raiders at 17,Wash at 19 pull the trigger a little early on Mac..Depending on if Fields slides down boards.Which pushes 3 others down boards..But Ive mostly seen mocks have Mac possible at #21 to the Colts..

Every time Mac speaks about Bama it is in past tense... he is gone unless something unforeseen happens

Still a strange guy to love though.

Moody is the underdog. Caden is that underdog. Camar is that Tuddies dog. Shane is good people and I hope it works out.

Terrion won't commit unlike some other recruits I know .

You and me buddy, like in a mirror.

A lot of NFL teams will take a QB in the 1st round this year. Mac needs to get paid. He has his master's at Bama. No reason for him to come back.

I think the Patriots take him. He's the type of QB that makes the NE system work.

I think the 49ers take Jones. Shanahan loves brains and a system qb. Id rather have a mobile qb but it is what it is.
