I admit that I'm annoyed lsu has the no 1 & 2 ranked safeties in this class, and the 4 & 5 ranked safeties in next year class.
Bama really needs to sign a couple big time safeties. Guess we gonna have to start moving some large corners to safety. McKinstry and Calloway maybe?

on 11/17/20 at 8:09 am to Tide or Die87Hey! in the paper this morning one of the local kids from Niceville was offered for Alabama, Azareyeh Thomas 4* Satefy/WR. I’ve watched a few of their games this year my nephew plays on the team. They are good and may win it all.

Niceville is always good but it would be quite an outlier for one of the bigger panhandle schools to win a state title in football. Outside of Tallahassee Lincoln, who is a shell of their former selves, I don’t recall it happening in a long time

on 11/17/20 at 8:36 am to RiseupfromtherubbleNiceville is 7A, they went to state last year and lost to edge water who lost to St Thomas in the State Championship . They are even better than last year. They score like I’ve never seen, scores in the 60’s several games, Pace, Crestiew.
I definitely wouldn’t think we had a shot until I saw them play. I went to every game for the most part last year, now the team has quite a few Div I kids. The QB has made a serious turn in the right direction.

I have absolutely no inside information at all, but I'm with you ... I think a number of factors are going to combine to cause LSU's recruiting class to crumble a bit before signing day. The latest allegations around the mishandling of sexual assaults may be one of the tipping points.

We at 247Sports have always been a little bit higher on Turner than others in the recruiting industry, and an impressive start to his senior season at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas has Turner inching closer and closer towards five-star status.
In four games this fall, Turner has totaled 24 tackles and 10 sacks. He has also forced four fumbles – and it’s not like those numbers are coming against inferior competition. In STA’s season opener against Miami Gardens TRU Prep, Turner beat Clemson four-star offensive line commit Marcus Tate multiple times. Aside from the production in pads, what also has us excited about Turner is his athletic profile. He actually grew up playing basketball and participated in a USA Basketball Minicamp as a sophomore. The hoops background allows Turner to remain light on his feet as he bends and leverages his way around blockers while trying to attack opposing quarterbacks. 247Sports also got a chance to watch Turner play some 7-on-7 back in the spring months before the nationwide shutdown and he impressed as he dropped back in coverage as a safety and not linebacker for much of the tournament.
BOL needs to ask Sage Ryan family if they are firm even with the impending hammer that is soon to drop, and overall ineptitude on display there. No way my kid goes there if he's a big time pro caliber player with things as they are now there.
