Replaced 4 1st round picks at QB/WR/RB, lead the SEC in passer rating through 4 games.

Pretty unbelievable.

we are going to have to have some quality drives and ball control to keep our D off the field and rested vs OM. I heard OM likes to average 90 plus plays a game

I think we found something electric with our 2 tight end sets, both in the run and pass game.

Latu and Billingsley are good enough blockers to force teams to choose between having safeties/hybrid guys get sealed on stretch plays to the edge or bring in big guys who can't cover them.

And it also opens things up more for play action, Metchie/Williams and Earle across the middle.

I frickin love it. Can't wait to see it this coming weekend.

Not in my wildest dreams would I have expected Latu to be as good as what he is.

Agree. And, if you are going to have somebody to scheme up stuff to attack with two tight end sets, BoB is a pretty good option.

I think he had both Hernandez and Gronk to work with in New England.

Yep, and had good success with it at Penn State. It's a matchup nightmare for defenses, especially with a field stretcher like Williams outside and Bryce's ability to move around the pocket.

It really forces them to make a decision where, for most teams, there isn't a good option.

I’m impressed with Javon Baker and looking forward to seeing more of him. And Metchie looked much quicker & closer to his old self/100%. (jmo)

Baker certainly showed some physical catch making attributes that I'm not sure anyone else possesses.

He's not going to outrun a lot of guys, but his body control and hands are just fantastic.

Does it open things up for forum favorite, Slade, as well?

It comes down to the line. Can they consistently open up running lanes and give Bryce time to operate ? The skill position talent is undeniable but the line has to keep improving.

Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see Earle had replaced Slade yet. Maybe support the current starters and not your fantasy. The coaches know what they are doing.

SOG is there enough data out to run your prediction models yet? I doubt we would see any accuracy with it on Ole Miss with the level of competition they have played up to this point though

People shouldn't be taking pot shots at Slade, but I'm pretty sure Earle was on the field for our first offensive snap:
