The DBs seem confused on every play. It looks like they can’t even get the formation called.

Pass rush looked MUCH better, as did the run defense. Not sure how much that has to do with opponent though.

I thought they did well when it mattered.

This isn’t the defense of old but calling them pathetic is simply moronic.

defensively it just A few little things that just a Saban system tendency and happens every year with his defense.
That he feels is best for player development in the long run.
Even-though it bites us in the arse when we dont have overwhelming talent.
Mayden took almost 5 yrs for a reason to get to start at safety,because we had people better.
Carter who played better today than he done all yr,
also has waited to start.
But battle, 58, keho and 28 playing a few more snaps would maybe fill the missing weakness we have.

1.But Mayden needs to sit.
2.A front of 58,99, 36 and 24 was wrecking today.
Against LSU they make barrow rush it.
Against AU they make Nix rush it.
Against fla they make young kid rush it.

Texas a&m Qb kept drives alive late and Mayden blew coverage to often.
What I also saw was 36 played a lot more today and gets to the play faster than 35.
Also the only reason why keho dont start is because of his weight and
maybe he's not a every down inside LB'er but explosiveness is not a problem.
