Things today went about as well as could be reasonably hoped for

But let's all still be prepared to not got in. And let's remember that we did it to ourselves.

With that said, say your prayers and let's hope we get Clemson Round 3. If not, oh well.

Clemson looks elite

ETA: Ohio State has never really been deserving of the 4th seed, not even in 2014. Should've been TCU. They keep changing the criteria. If they get in again, I will melt

Reading the tea leaves I'd say our chances are <50%

It is what it is

I have a bad feeling as well. The media pundits are all heavily pimping Ohio State, they are completely disregarding their 31 point faceplant to a 7-5 Iowa team.

If we get left out, that's not really my problem,w e screwed up and lost, so be it.

But the special treatment they give Ohio State is disgusting.

There aren’t many tea leaves to read right now. None of the people who are talking make any decisions. Their opinions are worth as much as yours or mine.

Committee seemingly threw Bama a bone with Fresno last week, now they just lost so no chance they stay in.

Auburn losing hurts too.

I think if Fresno won today, and Auburn had won, it gets real close with the way OSU didn't close Wisky out today

Who would have thought that we opened the schedule with the #3 team and it was touted as the biggest game to ever open a season & then we are worrying about our SOS.

I mean I'll be fine if OSU doesn't make it, but the committee has always valued wins, and OSU has way better ones.

Last week I said it's a shiny turd debate

Then do you agree that Penn State should have gotten in last year? I bet you didn't think they deserved it over OSU

OSU lost to a 7-5 team by more points than BAMA has allowed in any game this season.

People keep bringing last year up. OSU's resume was better than PSU's even with PSU's win in the conference title game. PSU had less top 10 wins and none on the road, while OSU had 2 top 10 road wins (including over a big 12 conference champ)

Bama's resume in 2017 is nowhere NEAR as good as OSU's last year. That is just a fact.

OSU wasn't in competition with PSU for the 4th spot, Washington was. That is why OSU was the 3 seed

If you want to say the committee will say Bama is better or punish them for Iowa sure, but you can't just look at records year to year and make decisions.

OSU 2015 was for sure a top 2 team, but they didn't get in at 11-1

Penn State was a very good win, that's a solid team.

Wisconsin and Michigan State would get pistol whipped by everyone in the Top 5. Even this team, which is not as good as past teams, would be sending MSU/Wisky players to the hospital (like the last 3 times we played them). It is what it is, but everyone knows what those 2 teams are. They prove it every time they reach the big stage against elite teams. It's frustrating to see beating those 2 (and losing by 30 to a 3rd team just like them) as the sole reasons for getting in. Michigan State and Wisconsin, good grief. We should request permanent home and homes with those two in perpetuity.

But, that's life I guess. We should have gone undefeated. Oh well.

My post refers to this year only. The barn and OU losses are tossups, but getting your shite kicked in by a middle of the road Iowa team stands for something in a 4 team playoff.

You lost the head to head. Sounds like they had the better resumé

Well all you have proven is you don’t know what resume means

Congrats
