It sounds like Beat Auburn on vids but almost everyone near me was not keeping it clean. Dont know how it sounded like it did but I’m glad.

It shouldn’t be clean anyway.

Sounds like they piped in "beat" Auburn and "Roll Tide" over a couple other parts of the song....it sounded bad and out of sync. BUT it was great hearing Dixieland Delight in BDS on Saturday night and seeing the crowd pumped

I have listened to a number of videos of it being played tonight, and I could swear I heard a smaller chorus of people singing F Auburn over and over. In one video, from the top of the lower bowl, I heard F Auburn pretty loud, unless it was a past game. But in most vids, you hear Beat Auburn overlaying something that did not sound like F Auburn. Whatever you think of the controversy, not sure why students who love it would risk losing it again by being so immature.

Student section was definitely chanting frick Auburn.

How do they know they really love it if they had never done it until tonight?

Students clearly didn’t follow instructions but it got the whole crowd going so it needs to stay regardless.

This, could hear it clearly in other parts of the song. Be curious to see what they decide to do

Apparently Greg Byrne was fine with it. He already confirmed to Marq Burnett the song is staying and he even tweeted about keeping the tradition going. Saban also commented on it after the game saying he loved it. It isn’t going anywhere....especially if it’s something Saban wants

I was at the game and sat near student section. They 100% piped in “Beat Auburn” and “Roll Tide” which was both corny and genius... at one point during the instrumental portion of the song the students were chanting “frick Auburn”. I enjoyed it.

I really don’t think he cares what the students say. He wasn’t the one who killed it the first time, but since he is the one bringing it back, he has to at least acknowledge the reason it went away. He did that by having someone run with a one week social media campaign, so now if anyone complained about it, he can say that it’s an important part of our tradition, and most people are doing it the “right way.”

It's very obvious from the video...the "Beat" is much louder than the "Auburn"...and it's obviously spliced in. Wasn't even a very good effort at making it sound realistic, IMO.

They also piped in "Roll Tide!" at the part where the students generally chant "Against the wall!" after the line "Hold her up tight..."

Yep. It got strangely louder and jumbled sounding when the "beat" part was supposed to be happening, think they strategically played people chanting it the "correct" way at those times to drown out people who might have been doing it wrong.
I heard the student section get a few F bombs in for sure, but it wasn't glaring enough that anybody not looking for it would have heard it.
