Enjoyed that. Really puts in perspective the wave after wave after wave of great players coming through the last 9 years - each class making its legendary mark before making way for the next.

Really great video, lots of big plays I had forgotten about but almost all the signature ones were on there.

I really liked that they didn't show any big plays from non-power opponents too, as those are cheap. It was all SEC games or power non-conference.

I would have preferred hey didn't show any plays from losses either. I know we had some big plays in some losses but my own preference would have been not to show any clips from losses, seeing plays from losses is a downer for me, even the good plays.

When making a video covering 5 national championship seasons, it's obviously hard to capture all the big plays, but there were a few off the top of my head that easily could/should have been included that weren't:

1. Our defensive score against Kentucky right before the half in 2009. I think it was Rolando McClain, I remember it being amazing.

2. Upchurch's TD catch against Auburn in 2009. Not an amazing play by itself or anything, but still a signature play for that season.

3. The TD pass to Colin Peek in the 2009 SEC Championship game. The only showed one play from that game, needed the Peek TD as well.

4. Anders sack/strip against Texas in the 09 championship game. It was the play that put the game away.

5. The huge gang tackle of the Honey Badger on a punt return in the 2011 title game.

6. The punt block for a safety against Florida in the 2015 SEC title game

7. Tua's scramble on 3rd down in the 2017 championship game.

These were all either huge plays, or amazing plays, or sort of signature plays in big games.

Loved the video. If I could have added something it might be a clip showing Ingram running wild from the Wildcat against South Carolina in '09.

PS: If there is one in there I must have missed it.

People who say Nebraska 1995 or Miami 2001 would beat those teams don't know what the hell they're talking about. Bama would stomp them, imo.

Can't wait for Forrest Funk to release his video on this past season.

Thanks! I can't believe how many great plays I had forgotten about. We are indeed spoiled.

Oh come on.....Everybody knows Miami is historically weak against teams with equal talent that can run downhill on them.

The crowd roar when Cody blocked that kick against Tennessee still makes the hair on my arm stand up.

Historically weak doesn’t mean much. I do think that 2001 Miami team is bit overrated because they started getting called the GOAT team after they had the shitload of players drafted.

But that Nebraska team won their games by an average of almost 40 points!

Our 2011 defense would have crushed that Nebraska team.

Our 2011 team didn’t play any top 25 offenses though

What would those offenses have been ranked if you took away their game/games against us?

Only Arkansas. The next highest rated offense (MSU) was ranked 84th so none of the rest were anywhere close to top 25 in total offense. Five of the teams were ranked 100th or worse.

I still think the ‘11 defense is really good but saying they would crush the ‘95 Nebraska team is being a blind homer. Hell the only option team they faced was an FCS team in Georgia Southern and they ran for 272 yards. Tommie Frazier and that offense would be another beast entirely.

I'm as objective as they come and that 2011 defense would wreck their offensive line.

The Georgia Southern game was meaningless and probably used as a motivational tool to knock our boys down a peg or two.

Give Saban and Co. five weeks to prepare for the option (assuming they would have met in the BCSNCG) and we would kill them with our size and speed.

Their defense would have been absolutely run over by our offense too.

Their OL gave up zero sacks all year.

Yeah the same run game that averaged under 4 YPC against Vandy and Tennessee.

You’re just being a blind homer or trolling. I’m going with trolling because I know you’re not a dumb poster.
