The touchdown run by Glen Coffee vs Kentucky in 2008 was sweet.

Alabama and Kentucky were both undefeated and it was October.

He came back to Alabama to get his degree and is now an assistant coach on the team with the running backs.

He is?? I met him like a year or two ago, can’t remember exactly, at his workplace and he wasn’t involved in football at all. That’s great to see him back at Bama if true.

He was on the staff last year and I think he's still on it this year.

Probably somewhere wishing he'd stashed a few million while he had the opportunity.

As someone with a degree in graphic design, rather than any of the higher paying degrees I could have gotten, let me just say, sometimes we have regrets. Maybe Coffee saw the writing on the wall and decided to jump ship on his own terms, or maybe he just really wanted to join the military and become an assistant coach. All I'm saying is if you have a chance to stockpile massive amounts of money in a short time, and choose not to, you're probably going to look back at some point and wish you had. Maybe he'll end up with a very fulfilling and lucrative career anyway, but it's a gamble. I wish him the best anyway, he was a hard running dude.

He barely made it out of the Army with an honorable discharge. He was sent to work at the Florida Ranger camp (Ranger school) to finish his time. He mentions it now when he speaks. Seems like it took him a while to wake up.

He is really a good-natured guy. Just loved football and you could tell he was a fan. I tell you the truth, the sound of Joe Tessitore's voice doing football games is just bad. I get why his gig on MNF was short. He isn't nearly as irritating when he does boxing for some reason, but man, football is so formal and cold. G-Mac is going to have his hands full making that production fun.

I like Tessitore. Formal and cold isn't how I would describe him at all.
