Remaster918, you're right. The hitting has been weak against a schedule of weak opponents and we're lucky to be 20-0. I heard one of the SECN+ announcers reference Bama's hitting coach. Who's that? Must be a "volunteer" coach and it doesn't seem to be working. Why don't we have a full time hitting coach? Is it money or some NCAA/SEC limitation on the number of full time coaches a team can have? Fouts, Cornell and the rest of the pitchers can only do so much; they need hitting support.

It has always been my understanding that Murphy is the "hitting coach" and he refuses to hire a real one because he's a control freak.

We've got South Alabama tuesday. They lost to no 1 Florida State 4-1 this season. Could be a good game. I would doubt we mix up our line up like we did in our first game yesterday.

we up so far. OUr number 2 is pitching. We have two pitchers under 1 in era our team batting is a little over 3...great start. You going to see closer margins of wins going into SEC play. I think we have 6 with batting averages over 3..u could not say that last year as I think we only had around 2-3
