Guess I just meant that leaving that many runners on base is not a recipe for success and therefore lucky Fouts shut them down . Usually leads to a loss but found a way to win

gutsy move by Murph to pinch hit for our CF who came through in a big way. I think he is frustrated with our lead off batter who keeps stepping out of the box while making contact with the ball on the slap hit.
and let me add our lead off batter has 12 RBI's all year so putting in Hardy who is batting around 150 was gutsy and risky

Cornell wont last much longer. She struggled in 3rd and got a very loose K out on Abby Cheeks to end the inning. Just gave up a double top of 4. This may be her last inning. Just gave up another infield hit.
Her ERA has gone up the last few games.

he is the same bozo at the LSU game who was living and breathing on every pitch that went against LSU. I bet he is there for the entire tournament and decided to pull for the SECW team. He has issues.

Goodman should have started the 6th. Cornell has struggled the last 1 and her ERA has gone up. Gave up 3 runs in 5 and two thirds inning. She has gone from an ERA in the low 1's to over 2 in just the last 4-5 ball games

Unless the NCAA Tournament gods decide to bless us, it looks like Alabama will not face Auburn for the first season in program history.
Which is a bit of a bummer since Auburn has come back down to earth since the departure of Pimp Daddy Myers and Sons. Would have been nice to restore some order to that series.

our leadoff batter is seeing her BA drop. She was over 350 and now at around 325. With this many AB's for the year it takes a lot of goose eggs to drop by 25 points. She has been the biggest disappointment at the plate in the last month.
And for those that were not watching we had bases loaded with Brown coming to the plate and he pinch hit with Hardy who has about 150 BA and she stroked a single that I think scored several runs. This was the big 6 run second inning.

Just wonder if the leadoff girl can take a normal stroke and not try to slap EVERY at bat. She just seems to always have rbi situations and ends with a K or weak AB

i have seen her do a half swing which puts the ball out of the infield but the momentum of the pitch is what is giving it some distance. So instead of a chop slap swing it is more of a half level swing.
At this point I wish she was a senior but she is just a junior
