We shot 45% from the floor to their 35%

We shot 40% from 3 to their 11%

We made 5 free throws.. They made 23!

Oats should have thrown a chair

This is my fault, I started getting interested in and excited about Alabama Basketball, and then things went downhill. If I stay disinterested, maybe they’ll do better.

This is how we all feel. Alabama basketball is cursed

Seems like Alabama basketball stays in perpetual mediocrity.

Does it? What did you think was going to happen when Herbert Jones went out? The depth is an issue and sustaining effort is pretty much impossible at this point.

I don't believe you own one basketball player down there that hasn't been or continues to be paid off by Wade and staff. That's one way out of "mediocracy."

I don't think he's wrong. Bama basketball is the epitome of "close, but no cigar". Hopefully Oats can pull us out of it.

Why do you take that as a shot at you? The LSU basketball program is corrupt, through and through. Your HC has been caught bidding on players. I'm not asking you to defend that or qualify it. The guys a low life. How you personally feel about the scum bag is your business.

It doesn't work that way. He just gave his personal view of the Alabama program. I just returned my observations of his basketball program.

Nothing I've shared with him I haven't already said about Will Wade many times.

Nothing is "perpetual" about life or Bama basketball. And hopefully, Oats is the guy.

Many things can be blamed such as injuries, officials, turnovers but that was a total collapse and loss of composure.

- Reece picking up his 5th foul 60 feet from the basket. You can debate the legitimacy of the call but he has to have some situational awareness.

- No timeout on our last possession. We were frantic and did not look like we had any type of plan. I know hindsight is 20/20 but with 15 seconds left in a 1 point game it seems prudent to draw up a play rather than keep the timeout to ice the shooter on the potential free throws.

Other head scratchers in this complete team meltdown but those two stood out.
