I know this board doesn’t care but I can’t wait for Bohannon to get Alabama baseball back to this level.
This particular UNC series sucked at the time. But I’d love to be heart broken over a super regional let down again.

I think people care. It's just been hard getting emotionally invested into some teams that can't even make it to Hoover.
Bohannon had us in the right direction last year before covid 19.

Andrew Miller fvckin shoved. Sat in the stadium for that one and damn we had no shot.
Game 2 took my soul though. Fvck that was rough. Sat in right field drinking with Coach Mal. Avila hit that bomb and it was great an experience as I had in college. And thennnnnnnnnnn FVCK.

I was at both games as well, George. Damn it was tough. I want to hate caring for Alabama baseball that much again.

It was such a great roster too. Avila, Robertson, Hunter all solid MLB vets plus Saleem, Matthes, Bentley.
We ran into a buzzsaw that Super, though. That Carolina team was stacked with MLB dudes. Miller, Ackley, Kyle Seager, Fedorowicz, Alex White, Adam Warren. That team had EIGHT guys who played in the major leagues. That's absurd.

I was really excited to see how this group responded to SEC play in 2020. Sucks we didn't get to see it, but maybe we get to skip a transition and move right to the good shite in 2021?

Special nod to the early 2010s team that got hot, won the Atlanta regional, and almost had a crazy comeback in Clemson to go to Omaha

I went to that final game at Russ Chandler. If I remember correctly it was during the MLB Draft and Tech players kept getting drafted, which was kind of a microcosm of the difference in talent level as Peanut was out there just shoving.
Was an awesome experience.

IIRC late in the game a guy started video-ing Peanut pitching behind home plate with his flash on trying to effect him. Didn’t matter though

Agreed. I think we will miss Gentry though. We have to find someone that can fill in for his offense. We really need Reeves to step up and be more consistent next year. He has all the tools to be elite.
Is Praytor coming back? I didn't see him get drafted, but I could be mistaken.
