It actually makes our playoff road potentially much harder.

Assuming Tua had played and we beat Auburn we finish the year undefeated and number one.

We go to the SEC Championship where I'm assuming we beat Georgia, eliminating them from playoff contention.

As the number one seed we face #4 Ohio State in the first round. Ohio state was actually playing extremely well at the end of the year and this would have been a much tougher game than Clemson in my opinion.

If we beat them we face the winner of Clemson/Oklahoma in the championship game. Based on the way those teams were playing I'm thinking Oklahoma likely wins. Oklahoma would have likely been a much tougher matchup as well.

All hypothetical but just something interesting to think about. Maybe we win them all anyway.

I want 15-0. Just let the match ups fall where they may.

Ohio St didn't look very good at all vs Whisky.
Who knows how Clemson plays vs Okie

Ohio state was Jekyll and Hyde against Wisconsin. When they were executing and playing well they were rolling over them with ease. However Ohio state would then have meltdowns and let Wisconsin hang around

no, if Fromm and Georgia could hang 50+ on Oklahoma we would have dropped 70 on them with tua. It's hard to describe how bad their defense was

Oklahoma was the team I didn't want to see in the playoffs. If OU could field a decent defense, they could easily beat us.

Mayfield vs. Tua? Oh Lawd!

The main point of this hypothetical is Tua being our QB. If he was the QB all along we would have a solid passing game and a running game and a ferocious defense!
So who could beat us with all that? No One.
We would easily be the best team in the country.Injuries were our chief challenge this year.

Can you imagine that matchup? Tua and Mayfield dropping dimes on the other secondary? Tony Brown would have gotten torched more than the Olympic flame. Title game would have ended 59-56. LMAO!

Hell, a week prior, they were on their way to a potential loss vs Michigan until their backup came in.
