That game will be the dark point in our 30 for 30.

But you can damn sure know it’s not ending there. This can either energize us or destroy us. I trust Saban will use it for good.

Or it could be what propells success for the next 5 -7 years of Saban. Who knows really at this point but I agree it's one or the other.

The dark point on our 30 for 30 will be the years right before Saban came. That's what will be our rags. Since he has been here it has been and will be riches.

Clemson played perfect ball and we did the exact opposite thus the blowout.

People were saying the same after the back to back Ole miss losses.

We cannot call this a failure to use next yr, this was a thumping. Once clemson figured out our weaknesses on defense they could have hung 60. Dabo had bama in him to not do it to us.

We gifted them a pick TD and pissed away 25 points on four drives where we reached 1st and goal but only scored 3 points total. 7 + 25 = 32. We lost by 28. And we threw a pick in the red zone on another drive. We could've (should've) won that game.

I was very disappointed in our defensive plan and calls. Venables did a great job with the variety of disguised blitzes. We were very vanilla, rushing 3 most of the time and showing our blitzes when we did call them. We made it easy for Clemson's offense. Our goal-to-go offensive play calling was very bad.

This loss was not like the final score. And it falls much more on a poor job of in-game coaching than on the players or anything else, imo.
