Regardless of how this injury situation shakes out, thank you to Tua for everything you’ve done for the university and the football program. He’s handled himself professionally and with class from the moment he stepped on campus and hasn’t stopped since. You’ve given us some of the greatest moments in Alabama football history and will go down as the best QB we have ever had.

Go get healthy and make that money, man. We are all praying for you and will be rooting for you, no matter where you go.

Amen. Tua has his priorities in order and has put the Lord first from day one. He has a very bright future ahead of him even if football is over. Roll Tide Tua!

I thought after 2nd and 26 he'd be the greatest ever. He certainly had the biggest moment ever.

Problem is he hasn't been able to go wire to wire. Some are just more injury prone--I remember Brody Croyle being similarly unlucky.

He will have one title, just like Mcelroy and Coker.

AJ's sitting there with two, and he played wire to wire for three seasons.

I think Tua is/was the most talented we've had--AJ has the hardware.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell for this. But championships matter, and AJ was a baller too. As much talent as Tua? No. But the hardware matters.

The past two seasons are just full of "what might have been."

Yep. He definitely changed my perception of what we can do at Alabama offensively.

3rd and long? No problem.

Appreciate all he’s done for us the last three years. Class act and a helluva competitor.

Go get paid, young man.

There's no more Crimson to squeeze from the Capstone for Tua. He's left it on the field, even if his body betrays him at times.

He has been an awesome representative of the university. There was never a moment when Tua was on that field where I didn't believe Bama couldn't score.

Dude left it all on the field every game, just took some incredibly unlucky hits to keep him out the past two years.

He'll fall a bit in the draft, but that might be a huge blessing moving forward.

Amen. Adversity is part of life and it's tough lessons. It's how we respond to adversity that shapes us and defines us. Let's pray for these young men, especially the guys who suffer serious injuries.

The best 2 pure passing QBs to play at Bama in my lifetime have been Tua & Croyle.

Brodie obviously didn’t have the talent around him that Tua has had, but that doesn’t take anything away from Tua.
