I don't think this is surprising. There was a lot of Lewis optimism among fans, but it wasn't very realistic relative to his injury.

Good. Just get 100% and go pro or come back.

Not a surprise tbh.

The fact he was trying didn't make sense to me. Rushing only increases chances to re-injure

Yea I would feel terrible if he tried to come back early and re injured it. Wouldn’t be a good look for the team and Saban either

He ain’t going pro. He’s hardly played in college. I do think he can have a monster year in 2019 though. I’m still hopeful he may be able to get back for the playoffs but we’ll see.

I dont think he will play this year, but what Saban said doesnt mean anything. He wont speculate about anything much less injuries. He said the same thing last year about talking to to the players and their families when or if they were cleared by the medical staff.

Exactly, at least this year unlike last year, if he comes back starting with Auburn, it'll be a maximum of 4 games he plays in and he can still at least redshirt.

Kevin Hagan said he’s hearing that he MAY be back for the playoffs.

I wonder if he will ever reach his full potential? Injuries change players and this poor guy can't catch a break. Hope he gets a year to prove himself and two years if needed. Red shirt this year.

My gauge on him says SECCG snap count but likely playoff.

Which means that he also may come back this season.
