Strained relationship with Kirby???

It’s been mentioned here and reported recently that Kirby took photos of the recruiting board in the coaches office on his way out to UGA. Then he used the player ranking/prioritization against us in recruiting once he got to UGA.
Kevin Hagan confirmed this in his post-NCG interview. He also added that the incident was “the tip of the iceberg” and called Kirby a horses arse or something like that.
Anybody have info/details on what else happened?

Saban made Kirby and he showed Saban no respect on the way out. Glad Saban ripped his heart out on a national stage and hope he gets to do it several more times before he retires.

I don’t know any details (though I did hear Hagan on the Bill King radio show say Pruit was a Bama good guy and Kirby handled it like an arse), but I wouldn’t wish what happaned to him on Monday night on anyone (though it was magnificent from my side of the TV).

I of course am not questioning bringing something like this to the board. I know our fans will wanna talk about it and if someone has the dirt, hell, I guess I'd read it.
But personally I just don't care at this point. I know they're an ascendant program or whatever the polite thing is to say, but we are us and we won and I have no time for petty bullshite. Leave that for them, who want to be us so badly.

I’m just not buying into the Kirby hate. Dude spent 8 or so good years with Bama, heading up some awesome defenses, and coached through the playoffs to win a championship on his way out the door (say what you want about points scored in that championship game, but DeShaun Watson was the reason).
Even if Kirby is cut throat in recruiting and pulled whatever stunt with the board, I feel pretty confident he was equally cut throat for Bama when he was our D-coordinator and probably threw his alma-mater under the bus all the time to get the job done. Just the name of the game.
I have no ill will towards Kirby, and unless Georgia is playing against us directly, will probably find myself rooting for the dawgs as they’ve always been my favorite team from the east.

We defended him absurdly better the following season until the defense had 100 plays run on them and they still needed some miracle catches from Mike Williams.

No one in this board...and I mean no one...has been able to identify Kevin Hagan beyond being some guy interviewed by Bill King. Google him and all you will find is a link to his Twitter. On his Twitter, you won't find a mention of any official position...at least I didn't.

IMO...if Hagan was as connected as he passes himself off as, (a) he'd have been the one to break the recruiting board story, not Cecil Hurt, as much as he hates Kirby, and (b) he would have given at least one or two other examples from the "iceberg", again, as much as he obviously hates Kirby.
Any Ranter could have read the Hurt article and concocted a bigger narrative about Kirby.
I could be wrong, but I think Hagan is full of shite.

Agreed, I think Hagan was the one who claimed a player mutiny and I don't buy into that bs because I know Saban wouldn't allow a fractured locker room. I think it's more guys being passionate and frustrated... Minkah had alluded to it a few times in interviews this week as guys just coming together and saying ",do your job and we ll be fine". This Hagan guy sounds like an attention whore who wants some recognition.

Been hearing this for months, and there is way too much smoke for there not to be fire.
I think it's a shame that there is no one on the Bama beat willing to ask CNS point blank during a presser. CNS is too professional to air the dirt on Kirby, but people, parents, and recruits should be made aware that Kirby is the kind of man that would stab his mentor in the back for something as petty as a recruiting edge for one season. (If it's true)
That is some truly low down dirty shite IMO, and you'd have to be a man of low character to do that to the man that taught you everything you know.

Look him up on Facebook. I’m willing to bet Boz, knows who he is. I don’t personally know him, but I believe he works for Kentucky. He knows Brent Keys if it’s the same guy I think he is. Dudes a prick!!
