It was still the first half in an SEC road game. Tua obviously was cleared to play and was doing fine. It's not like the guy wasn't moving and Saban forced him out there.

Is us unfortunate he got hurt, but there is no guarantee he doesn't get hurt some other way.

Should Davis been taken out of the game already?

No I don't think so.

If he was going to let the clock run out why even field the punt?

Had 3 TO's (would have been 2) and would have had the ball at midfield with about 16 seconds left.

Davis is not the same as an already injured QB.

Completely inexcusable to leave Tua in.

The idiots will be out in full force on this one.

1. His ankle was not a risk to be reinjured any more than his "good" ankle.
2. This injury has nothing to do with his ankle.

That won't stop the screaming idiots. See ESPN talking heads.

Apologies to Joey Galloway. I misheard. I agree with him completely.

Exactly.

People here sound as bad as the Rant - who LOVE the injuries. It is sickening over there right now.

Galloway made this point. He didn’t have any problem with Tua going out there. You can’t simulate a 2:00 minute drive. It’s a freak injury.

The only way he should have gotten hurt at that point was twisting an ankle while jogging back to the locker room at halftime.

Well, what the hell did you mean? Because you said it was still the first half, i.e., the point when he got hurt, not at the beginning of the game when he decided to start Tua.

He should have been playing and there was no reason to take him out at that point.

I love them. Really lets you know who is full blown retarded and unable to control their emotions. Not that we needed another reminder 7 days later.

If Galloway agreed with me, then I retract my comment about him. I heard him saying what I thought was the opposite of that, but I was barely listening because I usually just assume he's going to say something I disagree with.

Tua could have gotten hurt at any point during the game.

You don't play trying to avoid injuries.

My take is it's Tua's fault, he held on to it for too long should have gotten rid of it.

This is dumb. Obviously Saban should have known the injury was coming and pulled him out of the game the play before it happened to prevent it.

All these fans and people on TV knew the injury was coming, evidenced by they keep saying Saban made a mistake. Saban should hire them so they can tell him when to take players out.

Galloway shutting down the stupid rhetoric. It's the first time I've ever liked him.

He was doing that at halftime. First and only time that I agreed with him. Hell has frozen over.
