Still mad about the playcall on Tua’s INT

We got greedy instead of just punching it in. Would’ve gone up 14-0 and the Vols would’ve started quitting. BDS would’ve been rocking. Butterfly effect and all but maybe Tua doesn’t get hurt.
Whether Tua comes back 100% or not, you don’t get cute when you’re staring a TD in the face.

I'm more upset about him not throwing it into row 32.

Bingo.....that was all on #13. Maybe Steve should explain that it is OK to throw it away every now and then. In the early years of #13 he was quick to throw it away if things didn't appear as they should.

It was a bad play call but also a bad decision by Tua.

You’re mad at the play call but Sark didn’t throw the ball
Be mad at Tua. He got greedy and made a selfish play.

I believe both interceptions this season were in the red zone. There just isn't a lot of room to maneuver and Tua just made a bad read instead of throwing the ball out of bounds. What I liked though was our run game near the goal line. Making the defense honor, respect amd somewhat fear a potent rushing attack in the money zone would go along way in helping our offense out.

Seeing the replay I was shocked he tried to force it in there, there was nowhere to throw it. Get rid of it and live to play another down.

Not the play call dude.
Sometimes plays don’t work - you throw it away (like he has been doing this year) and live to fight another day.
He didn’t do that. That was ALL on Tua.

It was 1st & goal and they tried to catch them. It’s not like they called a really risky play in a bad situation with bad field position. He has to throw the ball away and admit the defense won that down. Period

Like others have said. That was all on tua.

tua's first int was him getting baited. good play on that defense.
last night's int was nothing more than a bonehead throw. my personal opinion. it was tua trying to be perfect for the heisman voters. keep in mind, tua's hero won the heisman. he's been expected to follow in his footsteps. what tua needs to realize is, he's not gonna win the heisman, under any circumstances.

I was livid with that decision. I'm still not completely over it.
Tua also needs practice on falling down/being tackled. Just don't struggle like your life depends on it and fall down.

While true...1st and goal from like the 2 and N Harris running so good, I was surprised at the play called.

That’s where I’m coming from. 1st & Goal from the 2, punch it in. Of course Sark didn’t think Tua would make a throw like that but even at the time I was hoping we just do what we did before and run Najee.

Especially because it was first and goal at the 2. Throw it away and you have 2nd and goal at the 2, which is fine.
Just a really really dumb decision, but hey, nobody is perfect.

Yeah, that was when you need be Jalen Hurts
Jalen would have ran out of bounds 4 yards behind the LOS.
But, yeah, that's better than a INT.

I said run it four straight times before the int, but it was a bad decision by Tua.
