Would be worse for them since they aren't on probation like we were.
Not to mention all the season ending injuries we had when Wingnut was there: Croyle, W. Britt, T. Castille, etc.

I believe we will win. I wonder though if we loose then could it be our last meaningful game. Meaning could we miss playoffs without a SEC championship?

We would absolutely miss the playoffs with a loss Saturday.

Alabama will definitely make the playoffs with only one loss, particularly given that Clemson and Miami play each other, and the PAC12 is completely out of it.
Alabama will remain the highest ranked one-loss team, assuming the loss is a close one to #6 auburn. If we were to get blown out, which frankly is not possible, then we could miss the playoffs.
The conference championship only matters as a tie-breaker to teams the committee considers equal. Granted, not getting that 13th data point would suck, but the clusterfrick in the Big10 would help immensely. Wisconsin's schedule is awful and OSU has been blown out twice. If Wisconsin loses, the Big10 is out of it completely.

I want to win the sec but I think we re in the playoffs regardless. We ve been winning convincingly almost every week and have been #1 most of the year. The committee chairman has said more than once they value our body of work. That said, I want to win the SEC and eliminate any doubt

I don't know how Gumpish this is..... but I reject any National Championship that involves a loss to Auburn.
