Looking at the standings, if Bama can get past Vandy and Missouri..it looks like there's a real possibility of moving to the 7th spot.. Which would put us on the other side from Kentucky.
If we have any hope of makibg a run..that could be huge

Yes, we need to avoid Kentucky in the SEC tourney. We are most definitely their bitch. Or at least I can say that Avery, Grant, and all previous coaches were KY's bitches.
We are quite capable of beating any team in the tourney. And also quite capable of losing to any team. With our thin bench, however, I doubt Bama can put together more than a game or two of quality play together before they'll wear down.
Best case scenario is matchup against a aTm type team first, then play an LSU (or hopefully an upset special team), make it to the semis and then pack it in.

Do what? Pull for Alabama?
I've been doing that for over 50 years so your pessimism won't change that..lol
It's amazing to me how some fans want to throw in the towel and fall back on the "maybe next year" line..smh
We can do that once the season has concluded..but right now I'm going to pull for the Tide..
Either get on the bandwagon or get off..makes no difference to me.

If UK isn't in our bracket, you can rest assured Nate Oats was chosen by God to lead the Tide.

I don't think anyone wants to throw in the towel, I just think we want to take it game by game and not start the NCAA tournament stuff up again.
Let's just keep playing good, hard basketball and see where it leads us.

Nobody mentioned the NCAA Tournament.. The OP is about seeding in SEC Tourney and getting a more favorable draw to advance.
Geez

Yes, When we got Oats nobody had any expectations other than watch and see. He did such an amazing job changing the game that we all felt a little hopeful. This season exceeded any realistic expectations. I am looking forward to watching this team play some extra game regardless of where they play them.
