The AD needs to come out with a statement to Tide Pride members about refund policy in the event games are canceled.
Does anyone know what happened with spring sport season ticket holders?

The games aren't getting cancelled. People need to stop hyperventilating.
This isn't going to carry over all the way to the Fall. MLB is looking at only a delayed start.
Things will be back to normal in a month.

I feel badly for people who think this is the case. They are in for a rough reality check in the coming weeks.

I feel badly for people that's been driven into panic. I legitimately feel sad seeing these moms and grandparents that are in full panic mode.

I don’t think you have to be “driven into panic” to look around the country and the world and see where things are going.

That just isn't true. Saying so isn't panic, it's reality.
You can argue that it should be back to normal if you want, but it absolutely will not be. Baseball and basketball won't be back, schools will probably still be out, the economy will be a mess, large gatherings will still almost all be cancelled or downsized. It isn't panic to say that is what the country will look like on April 15th, it's just facts.

Panic is saying things will be shutdown as is until August. That's just not likely.
It's not going to be like this for 5 months.

In a month MLB will still be another month away from the first pitch. And that's best case scenario.
In a month, I'm supposed to be watching the Braves, but I won't be. How's that normal?

Probably is a good thing for your sanity.

5 months is very different than "back to normal next month"

I don't think this, but I do think it will be mid summer before we get back to some normalcy.
I think we will end up somewhere between the dooms day and optimist. Probably won't be back to normal in 2 weeks, but probably won't be dealing with this in August either.
UAB sent out an email yesterday that on campus classes will not resume this spring. Everything will be done remotely. So no on campus schooling until summer semester, which means a lot of students won't be back on campus till fall.

Since you write this, the earliest re-start for Tennessee schools has been pushed back another month.

I emailed the Tide Pride office yesterday about refunds if the season was cancelled and they replied....
quote:
Good afternoon,
I hope that this email finds you and your family well. The last couple of weeks have certainly altered all of our lives. I pray that everything will be back to normal soon. Our office was closed last week for Spring Break. We have remained closed, but we are all working from our homes. If football season were to be delayed or cancelled, we would be refunding TIDE PRIDE and ticket payments. That is what we are in the process of doing for our baseball and softball season ticket holders. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Have a great day. Stay safe and well.
Sincerely,
Desirae Foster
