Fields, Sermon, and Olave make a really good trio on offense.

They've run out of Bosas on defense, but they look like they have some solid DBs.

Tight ends look like they can cause problems.

Possibly some injuries along the OL/DL after this game. They had a big time OG go down earlier.

What do yall think?

That fields is the type of QB that has traditionally caused problems. Getting off the field on third down will be key.

I think our receivers and online are light-years better than Clemson's, and I think mac Jones has no problems with accuracy under pressure. I don't see ohio state stopping us

If they put wade on Smitty then Smitty may go number 1 in the draft

Wyatt Davis is their best guard and I think he went down tonight. Not sure if he came back in.

Eta: Davis was helped off the field with a knee injury. But later returned to the game.

We need Fields to turn the ball over and he does have that issue from time to time

Ohio State is going to move the ball on us. But they make mistakes, which we have to capitalize on. Fields will give us opportunities for interceptions, and our pass defense is way better than Clemson’s, especially downfield where they killed Clemson.

We need to score early and play with a lead in order to force them to pass. If they get a lead and start to go run heavy with Fields and Sermon we’re at a disadvantage. Their O Line is good and will outmatch us in the run game, but we have a decent shot at getting pressure on passing downs. Until tonight, they have not heavily featured backs and tight ends in the passing game, which works in our favor. Even tonight, the TE was mostly a jump ball/red zone weapon, and the RB was getting the ball wide, not in the middle of the field. We would much rather have that than TE/RB passes coming through the middle.

This may sound harsh, but we will be greatly helped if we can hit Fields in the ribs and reaggravate the injury, hopefully limiting him as a runner. Obviously we need to do so legally.

Their front 7 is very good. The best we’ve seen since Georgia. They can match us sideline to sideline with speed and play very disciplined when it comes to screens and gap assignments. Najee will need to play north/south or he will be on the ground at the line of scrimmage. While we will still have some success on the ground, I don’t think we’re going to successfully play murder ball.

Their DBs are vulnerable though. Clemson just didn’t have the WRs to expose it. They get beat deep. I think we will be able to have a big night passing, but the biggest hinge point of the game will be if we can pass protect against their D line. If Mac has time, I don’t think their offense can keep up. If Mac is getting harassed, I think it’ll be a tight game. Offense probably needs to score 35-38+ for us to have a shot.

I think we should be about a TD favorite with an o/u of like 74.

Last game of the season, need to go all out.

Keep the offense firing on all cylinders. The goal should be score 60.

On defense blitz like crazy and have Harris spy Fields all game. Put Dale on the bench, let Smith eat up 2 blocks. Unleash Barmore, him and Anderson should be racing to the QB every play. No putting Anderson in coverage. Bama's CB will hold up. Moses needs to play the game of his life.

If all that happens, Bama should hold them under 50 and win the game.

The TE they have is going to be an absolute nightmare. The first thing you see on ND's tape is how easily the TE crossing stuff was left open.

I think Clemson last night was like us last year. Was able to outscore teams to hide how bad our defense was last year. We got exposed against LSU the same as Clemson did yesterday against OSU.

UA this year is a whole different team then last year.

What am I missing? I thought Owens played very well.

Even if you remove the 53 yard hurdle run, Najee averaged over 5 yards a carry and Mac got sacked once.
