He is sub par on both run and pass coverage. Is there no one who can push him at this point in the season?
He’s clearly talented but it’s not coming together for him.

He didn’t even know the ball was coming his way til it was too late.

Most passes are on his side of the field is previous games. I really having Diggs our there bc its a big drop off.

He has played ok. He gave up two TDs today. I thought he has had some great games this year including LSU (granted they don't have a QB though).

That’s actually one of the games I thought he was weak on pass coverage. At this point, I’m noticing his screw ups more than his quality plays so maybe I’m seeing what I’m expecting instead of the whole picture.

I agree with you. He's looked good at times but I believe he zones out and doesn't seem to like physical play

It was very important that he come in and play winning football. He has the measurables but he plays soft as shite. I thought he had been mediocre up to this point but he sucked today and got man handled by a WR that couldn't sniff a spot on a SEC roster.

Clemson will throw the 50/50 to his side 15 times if we make it. Book it.

Yup, to the big receiver from Alabama. Extra salt in the wound

It killed us against Watson in 16. We never won a 50/50 with AA28 on that side.

Yup, and AA was much better than Smith

Bad couple of plays but he's been a good player for the majority of the year. His biggest issue is long speed though

Bad example.
Ya'll are talking heigh differential. Not how good someone is.
Honey Badger had an impressive year, is still in the NFL and was a top DB. However, Norwood who was 6'2 and Mathieu was 5'9.
I don't care how good you are. It's called a mismatch.

Those are gonna be tough matchups vs Higgins and Ross. Gotta get pressure in that game

on the Second TD he was barely trying to shed the block. With just a little effort he could have knocked the guy out of bounds

Savion has his moments good and bad. He is capable when he is on point IMO.
I'll say this in his defense... Savion is nowhere near the "liability" that Lester Cotton is. Holy Efen shite !
If you want to talk about a player that it is unbelievable we dont have a better option on the roster it is Lester Cotton.

Nope. Injuries. Plus we play with at least three corners at a time.

Well.. he doesnt make extra efforts to get off the block well.
