I have my doubts, but given the B1G's recent history of criminally incompetent, it not actually criminally negligent, institutional practices their decision to cancel actually makes me feel better about the SEC moving forward with a season. The only conference run by dumber, shittier people than the B1G is the Pac-12 and that's just because Larry Scott's capacity for failure knows no bounds.

They absolutely can.
They know for a fact the facilities are sanitized on a regular basis. They know for a fact masking and distancing guidelines are enforced.
Outside the athletic facilities they can guarantee NONE of these things.
