Clemson's defensive line is fierce. Best Dline in the country. If our gameplan involves dropping Hurts back to pass down the field regularly we are going to get destroyed.

We must design our gameplan primarily around a smashing running attack and an occasional QUICK PASS on a simple route that Hurts doesn't have to think about.

Run edges with Harris , Jacobs, and WR's, throw quick slants and sideline cushion. Step on neck.

We'll have 2 drives where we do it and score TDs, then rely on Hurts through the air the rest of the game.

Yes. We must be aggressive to beat them.

Yep, Quick slants, quick out routes.

QUICK PASSES. No thinking, no reading the field, etc.

We must accept that they WILL get pressure and adjust our play calling accordingly. If we stubbornly call plays thinking we'll give Hurts time it will not go well.

We tried to attack auburn weakness first half, didn't work (I had hoped Hurts would take the next step, maybe he will in the postseason). Started running in second half, td, then went three and out running essentially, then we had that clipping call and then we got down and were fighting the clock. Just a lot of mental mistakes and one of those games against auburn we have seen a few times in recent years.

I'm not very confident but anything can happen - we aren't as strong in the trenches as a typical bama team and we honestly don't have the playmakers to make up for that on both sides of the ball this year. So we got a punchers shot, but not expecting the victory as we normally do.

Defense needs to keep this low scoring. Our offense isn't putting 30 on Clemson without turnover help. We also need to scheme that Ridley will be double covered all night because Clemson focuses on shutting down your best player.

I would like to see more two back sets and passes to either of them be a large part of our attack. Josh and Harris are the better options due to speed. Bo is just and average RB this year (perhaps the injury). Daboll and the Pat's use the RB's in the passing game Bigly so why not help Jalen out.

I feel like we put Bo in when we need a physical back. I'd argue that some of the most important part of a RB moving forward is the back who can pick up the blitz.

I don't think we have a great RB that picks up the blitz.

The effort by the RB's on pass blocking is just not there. I am surprised Nick and the RB coach hasn't got in those RB's for effort. One poster on the rant posted video of every pass play Bama vs LSU and that was an eye opener for me. Neither 9,34,8 blocked like it was the important play in the game...over and over.

We need a shake a bake guy for receiving. 8 is the best of our group.

Not just that, run the damn ball with our elite running backs, don't make Hurts the focal point of the ground game and for the love of God stop trying to make everyone happy and feed Harris and Jacobs. Bo comes in on the goal line or on.third or fourth and one. We can win with this formula.

Jalen needs to be able to execute passes though or Clemson is going to shut down a run game. They probably don't even have to stack the box with their d line
