I think, considering all he did for the school over the last 55 years, we should name the field after him.

I am 100% on board with this.

When Coach Moore approached the Pearly Gates, St. Peter was tapped on the shoulder by Bear Bryant who said, "He's okay, he's one of my guys."

Someone posted it on twitter. A lot of Bama athletes, past and present, are tweeting their respects about Coach Moore.

Will miss him. Bill Battle had to be hoping to have Mal around for a bit for some guidance.

I've personally been on the train to eventually name the field after Saban when he goes, so for now I could see us going with "Moore Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa Alabama..." and then later on going with "Saban-Moore (or Moore-Saban, but Saban-Moore sounds better) at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa Alabama..."

Saban got a statue, I think thats enough. Naming the field after Moore would be the best option.

RIP Mal. Very few will ever do as much for their alma mater as you did for UA.
Thank you for everything that you've done for The University of Alabama.
