You never know who you’ll run into at the Alabama football facility. Today it was Rich Rodriguez, who *nearly* had some history here.

None of this would be possible without a woman from West Virginia believing that she is better than people from Alabama. I don't even want to imagine where we'd be if we had hired RichRod.

Don't forget Finebaum's role in all this. He basically made fun of her so much she told RR she sure as well wasn't going down there.

WELL DONE PAWL

Honestly, I think it might have been Neal Vickers' cackling that pushed her over the edge.

Enos or Gattis will be our next OC, not Rich Rod IMO

Possibly, but you have to consider that Game 1 on this playthrough of Dynasty Mode was breaking Tammy Bowden's top 10 Clemson team that was coming off a 9 win season and had just brought in a top shelf recruiting class. Even if RichRod had turned the program around, it wouldn't have been in year two because of the total 180 in personnel from Shula he'd have required to run his offense effectively. So Bowden doesn't get forced out in 2008. Maybe he even hangs on through 2009 and into 2010. Does Dabo even get a HC opportunity? Maybe, maybe not. Even if he does he'd have probably just started around the time we canned RichRod and wouldn't have been a candidate to replace him.

I don't know man. Saban loves the RPO offense now and RichRod is basically The Godfather of RPO.

That ceiling is too high for Oasis. And not enough smoke in air.

Don't get me wrong I'm FOREVER grateful it worked out like it did, but if RichRod comes to Tuscaloosa as an intern after bailing on Bama like he did the god of Karma can retire. His work on earth will be done.
