An LSU fan here, I come in peace.
I want to get the board's opinion on whether or not I should spend the time and money in hopes coach Saban will participate in a little quid pro quo. I have three pics from nearly the same exact spot in the Superdome of my family at the National Championship games from the '03, '07 and 2019 seasons. I sent the pic from the '07 season to coach Miles with a congratulatory note asking him to sign the photo. He promptly signed and returned. I build custom fishing rods and built an LSU themed one for coach O and will be sending it to him with the 2019 photo asking for his signature. Through a friend on the BOS I'm fairly confident I can get it signed. I think it would be cool to have the three photos lined up with the three coach's signatures. I know coach Saban has a lake house, not sure how much he likes to fish. If I built a Bama rod for him and sent it along with the photo and a note of appreciation for his title and days at LSU think he'd sign and return?
And no, I don't have a pic from the 2012 NCG

I think it's a cool idea. I have no idea if it will work, but I hope it does.

Thanks for the links S10th. I think I'll do a nice spinning rod with specs for tarpon fishing. Thinking of doing a red blank. I do weaves on my builds. Y'all think I should have it say "BAMA" or 'Roll Tide"?
