With all of the coaching turnover we've had over the last several years, what do you expect with Golding and Sark? In my heart of hearts, I believe Sark did a good job, but at the same time who couldn't have with this years offense. Golding I'm uncertain on, was is youth, him or both?

What do you guys see unfolding in the coming months?

I predict someone will coach a team.

I hope Alabama keeps everyone for a change.

But who's out there to replace him?

I don't think Sark is going anywhere, nor do I think he should be.

Golding should be gone or demoted. That said, I could absolutely see Saban keeping him as DC to avoid more staff turnover.

Glenn Schumann, inside linebackers coach and Co-DC at UGA.

He's an Alabama graduate, was an analyst and GA at Alabama, then director of player development at Alabama before going with Kirby to UGA.

Unless we can change from the 3-4, it won't matter who we have.

There's 31 points so far against Wisconsin's 3-4 and Georgia's 3-4 got lit up by LSU.

It's just not that effective against a quick hitting passing game unless you have an overwhelming talent difference.

I think we look to the NFL to replace Golding

What would you recommend then? I mean if I had to guess we were in nickel more this season than the base 3-4 anyway.

And were playing against Georgia's crappy offense. How many did we score against LSU?

On the one hand, Golfing did a terrible job, but on the other hand, all this turnover in coaches has had a serious negative effect on the players.
No one to become comfortable with, no one to look up to for their college careers.
I really think this coaching turnover could be the number one reason for the lack of discipline the Alabama teams have had recently

I hear that. But, there's no excuse for the defenses that Golding has helmed at Bama. No excuse even with the injuries because how many other programs can replace experienced 4 and 5 star players with inexperienced 4 and 5 star players? UGA, LSU, Ohio State and maybe now Clemson. That's it. And, the kicker is the backups have shown little to no improvement under Golding. So, I'm less concerned with coaching turnover if it means getting a poor teacher off the coaching staff.

My biggest issue with our nickel defense is that our interior linemen are told to hold their gap and occupy blockers leaving only our outside guys to pressure the QB. And the extra pressure we try to apply comes from delayed blitzes from corners and safeties which rarely work against a quick release passing game.

We could use the 4-3. There are several variants of the 4-3 we could use to apply pressure from the line of scrimmage. The lack of pressure at the line of scrimmage is my biggest issue. We allow the QB far too much time and put too much pressure on our DBs.

I wouldn't mind seeing some 46 and 5-2 mixed in as well to keep the offense guessing. Our biggest problem right now is that we are predictable.

That's only a part of the problem.

Now I do agree with this . Got so tired of watching Davis basically stand up and lock arms out only to sit there and spy the quarterback . We run a 4 man line most plays so we are not technically a true 3-4 many plays . If we ran a 4-3 it would turn into a 4-2-5 look which we run anyway

Yea a quick penetrating 3 tech tackle would be great at about 285-290. Can’t believe how much weight EBOIGBE has already put on
