How many games has Hurts started with Mike Locksley as the OC?

I mean I'm not the biggest fan of the rotation the past two games but it's really for selfish reasons of wanting to watch Tua play QB. At the end of the day Tua gets better reps against our own guys in practice than he could get from playing the entire game against most of these teams.

You claimed all last year that Hurts was the better qb so I don't really expect you to get it.

You've said this multiple times, and you're still wrong. But it's a nice deflection

Unrelated to Alabama football

Barrett Jones is pretty solid as a commentator. He has soon room to grow refining his speaking, but I enjoy his thoughts/comments a lot

Oh, there are plenty of examples, but this is one of the one of the goofiest... Jalen Hurts 2017 MVP

And you posted that example last time you made the same claim, and nowhere in that post do I say that Hurts is a better QB than Tua. And that is your best example? You aren't good at this.

Trying to spin away, eh.

You called Jalen Hurts the most valuable player. Tua was on that team. You know, the guy that won the national title after Jalen Hurts yet again failed to move the offense.

The point is that you are a Jalen Hurts apologist. You were then, and you are still now.

So you are arguing that since I said Hurts was the mvp of the team(by default really) after the msu game, that I was implying that he is a better than Tua, when Tua hadnt played any significant snaps at that point in the season? And then you cite something that happened after I made that post as a part of your argument? Do I have that correct? Wow. I hope you aren't a lawyer.

Jalen is amazing. So happy that he is our QB. This is fun to watch.

Even Commander Data was in agreeance with the general idea of that thread, which was a response to the miserable hurts bitch fest put on by posters last year during the regular season. dude, stop.

Well if player A is the most valuable player of the team, that certainly precludes player B from being better.

You were wrong about Jalen Hurts then, but you supported him then, and you're still supporting him now.

You are also totally ignoring the point that since Jalen was the starter for 2 years, he shouldn't need the reps to be the backup as much as Tua, starter for 2 games, needs the reps to prepare for the remaining games. That's the point, and as I said earlier, I don't really expect you to get it because you already proved last year that you're not smart about these things.

This argument is so convoluted, and stupid, I don't even know how to respond

I support all of our players, all the time. You don't?

So because Hurts is the back up now, he needs no reps? Okay.

Your whole argument is based upon the fact that I supported Hurts last year as our QB, therefore i can have no valid opinion on anything regarding the subject in 2018. Do you see how stupid that is?

Of course you don't because you're not good with logic.

My thoughts...

Tua is phenomenal. He’s just on a different level.

Hurts played good for him, but it still felt like the O was flat when he’s in. But, he always looks good vs the crap teams, which is who this was today.

Ruggs-Smith-Jeudy-Waddle are unstoppable, especially with Tua throwing. Best WR core we’ve ever had.

4 great RBs, and they’ll all be displayed early on and vs bad teams. But, in the meat of the schedule, Saban normally rolls with 2. He won’t be sending out the 4th string RB in a 7-point game in the 3rd Q vs LSU. All 4 backs are great, but I believe Damien and Najee will be the top 2, with Jacobs the occasional chance of pace, and Robinson garbage time.

Bulovas won the kicking job today.

I’m not crazy about the Defense or punter.

Jedrick Wills is a FREAK.

I hate alternating QBs. Tua should play the whole game or until the games is in hand and you’re benching him for garbage time

Goddamn, some of you are fricking stupid. You don't need your MVP on the field for the duration of a 50 point win. 7 series is more than enough for Tua in a game like this.

That's typically a full half of football, and it's about how long Saban left Hurts in when games were early blowouts.

If you think Saban is just doing this to make Hurts happy, you're a moron.

Please feel free to post your record as an NCAA head coach now. If it's better than Saban, I'll retract my statement that you're fricking imbeciles.

ETA - this wasn't directed at you, funkytide. It's clearly meant for Motown and Milner. I'm pretty sure they're drunk posting.
