The defense is not going to be as dominant as we're accustomed to. The offense could make up for it if Saban stops with the BS QB rotation.

What does that even mean? Is it supposed to be a diss? Yeldon was a pretty dang good running back from what I remember.

I don't like Damien getting half of the carries when we have 4 backs that are nearly equal, and Damien isn't the best athlete of the 4, for sure.

I agree that our offense needs to be more Tua-centric. This offense needs to form an identity, which can't happen when Jalen and Tua are splitting reps evenly.

Skyler Delong is pretty meh

Our defense doesn't look too good right now.

The thing is, there are a lot of great offenses this year. Defenses win championships, and we need our defense to step up big time

44 carries total

12 carries for Harris

12/44 = 27%

?

Last week he got 7 carries out of 42.

You should just ignore the stupid ones.

On the other hand, it's pretty damn depressing that we have fans who think that 22% is more than half.

Perhaps not if Saban insists on musical qbs

Jones has a mental block at kicker, needs to sit

OL looked bad at times, need more consistency

Tua needs to play until the game is in hand. Let Jalen finish in mop-up

Definitely the best overall group of WRs we've ever had.

I like how you say this in a derogatory fashion. TJ Yeldon was fricking awesome for us.

Musical QBs? In both of our games this season, Hurts wasn't put in until we were up at least three scores.

We've scored 50+ twice with it against defenses just as good as Ole Miss.

I'd be shocked to see it next week, though. Hurts isn't coming in until we've gone up multiple scores.

He was put in on the fifth series each time. That was planned from jump. Then Tua gets the two minute drill and the start of the second half. Then Jalen gets a few series and Mac comes in to handoff.

It's a stupid and pointless rotation designed to keep the Hurts happy.

Like I said, up by at least 3 tds before Jalen gets a sniff. And we've won by 50 in both games. What are y'all bitching about?

That it's not allowing Tua the reps he needs with his WR and OLine, and it's fricking up offensive rhythm. All in a pointless effort to keep a guy happy who is already halfway out the door.

It's annoying.

I’m not a fan of using all the backs. I understand we have an embarrassment of riches but it’s hard for a guy to get in a groove only getting 9-12 rushes spread out over an entire game. Seemed to work better when we focused on our two top backs in the beginning then put in our fresh bruiser in the fourth.

QB situation is still frustrating. Let’s pick our guy and give him the first half. If we’re up big pull him. Kind of like the RB situation. Hard for a guy (and offense) to get in a rythym having a new QB every 3-4 series.

Let’s stick with Bulovas from here on out.

The defense and oline needs to get mean.

McKinney needs to start wrapping up.

This is going to be unpopular but Im going to be watching when Tua is throwing under pressure. Not the scrambling and throwing on the run kind but the standing in the pocket knowing the hit is coming kind. Seems to me these were when is few “off” throws happened. Other than that he was perfect again.

Some of our best players on D need to start showing up. Guys like Raekwon, Mac and Miller have been very unimpressive thus far. Those guys start playing better, our whole D looks different.

Ship Adam Jones back to Temple. Kid is horrible. Bulovas from now on.

OL has way too much talent to be as mediocre as they are right now.

Offensive skill players are elite.

Punter leaves ALOT to be desired. I can average 35 yards a punt.

this guy on another board summed it up pretty good...

"Have to say I’m frustrated with QB situation. Don’t understand why a two year, starting QB needs reps.
To my mind Tua needs the the work with the offense, as competition is going to get more difficult. Can’t play worrying about what if Tua gets hurt. Belichick doesn’t play his back up preparing for Brady to get hurt. smh"

Actually Belichick does, because they have preseason games. That's essentially what this game was for us. I highly doubt you see the same QB rotation next week with SEC play starting.

That ignores the point that Hurts shouldn't need the reps since he was the starter for 2 years but Tua, being the starter for 2 games now, does, so to prepare better for the bigger games later.
