On our floor!

Tenn shot 32 free throws, Bama shot 8!

Oats should have thrown a chair.

It was horrendous the last 2 games.

Alabama is the only basketball team in America that seems to have a home court Disadvantage.

Discipline is our problem. Too many turnovers.

We shot 45% from the floor to their 35%

We shot 40% from 3 to their 11%

We made 5 free throws.. They made 23!

The 20 turnovers is bad..but not what ultimately cost us the game..

Not saying there weren't shite calls - because there were and these officials sucked - but the one stat that lost this game was turnovers. Some of it is the new offense, but most of it is just guys being completely unaware of where the defender is and making dumb decisions.

I also can't get over the last possession. I don't know if it was Oats or Kira making a bad decision, but why is Forbes getting the ball with time winding down? Outside of today's 3s, Forbes has struggled to score in almost every game. He shouldn't be getting the ball unless it's a wide arse open shot. Instead, Kira passed him the ball to slash to the basket.

I didn't understand the last play either.. Ridiculous decision.

We shouldn't have even tried to get to the rim with Tenn size.. Should have penetrated and kicked for a 3 imo

Truth be told, when your team is playing against Galen smith, you’re starting the game with about 8 free throws.

Forbes was one of the only ones attacking rim area for offensive boards and passes like that one throughout the game. Don’t think it was drawn up for him it all, he was just being aggressive and put himself in the right place at right time...with the wrong outcome, of course.

I really think this is all Golding's fault.

To make this stat worse, we are 17th in the country in FTA per game. UT is 203rd...

I’m disappointed in the amount of turnovers we had, but let’s not completely shift the focus off of the officiating. It needs to be fixed just as much as our TO problem needs to be.

Imo, the lack of a physical big man who can control the defensive paint is the reason our "make believe" centers are being crushed on the boards and are having to grab and slap and reach over backs because of their timidness. Hell, Davis is the only guy who will "roll up his sleeves" and mix it up, but his inexperience gets him in quick foul trouble.
Teams like LSU and Tenn. can't wait to suit up against us because of this.

A lot of things went wrong with Alabama last night. Maybe too numerous to pin on just a few things. But for the love of golf can't someone revoke John Petty's dribbling privileges?

I can't figure out how he eats with those hands.

Seriously, he's a tall guard with a high dribble...a bad combination.

Who keeps doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome. Let's show him game tape of Kyle Korver.

Alabama isn't committing turnovers. According to coach Oats, we are committing "mindboggling" turnovers. Code for stupid, unexplainable, inexplicable, the kind we don't practice but they just keep showing up on game day anyway. Dumb fouls would be my second choice, but that's another subject.

Turnovers are the single most cause of this year's basketball team slowly bleeding to death. This team is not near good enough to lose 20 extra possesions to score against anyone. And inventing new ways to do it is truly "mindboggling."

Coach Oats can't flip the roster, maybe the big compromise and adjustment will have to be a change of pace on the backend of games. Flies against everything Oats is about and wants Alabama to be, but we are down to 7 players and we can't hang on with this roster playing at this pace and committing these turnovers.

I think you almost have to take the L's and commit to the system win or lose. This year doesn't really matter with all these damn injuries, it's about getting the culture and expectations right for next season.

It might be the way to go. It's hard to imagine this team making the tourney either way.
