Want to see if Eddie Smith gets.any snaps for Illinois, he is in their safety rotation, his number is 8.
Early impressions: Frost is screwed. Martinez is Feleipe Franks Florida version: a game changer for the other team. Nebraska has no outside threat that Illinois respects. And if Illinois doesn’t respect you, the rest of the B1G is going to laugh at you. Bright spot: Nebraska’s defense looks decent.
On the other hand, Big Bert has the Illini looking good. They may surprise some teams. They still have a long way to go but they are playing well and playing within themselves.

They lack the overall talent. I read an article recently that Scott Frost relied on recruiting Florida heavily and it was something like ALL but one or two of those guys he got from there transferred out. A few transferred in the year they were recruited before the season even started.

on 8/28/21 at 1:52 pm to CapstoneGrad06The problem is the QB. He's terribly inaccurate and has a very hard time processing the defense. Can't believe they don't have anybody else they can turn to. This guy's been a three-year starter and is subpar at best
