Miss State is being weird to me. To rattle Daniels you get him off his spot by bringing pressure up the middle. Since they got up 17-10 they stopped blitzing up the middle (or at all really) on 3rd and long and when they do blitz they bring it off the edge from DBs.

I'm glad Bama shouldn't have to play Georgia again. When that Georgia defense gets healthy and with JT at QB, they will be hard to beat.
Georgia will win out and looking ahead to next year, they beat Clemson in the their season opener.

Daniels was better than Bennett or Mathis, which is an exceptionally low bar, but their offense still looked like a clunky, outdated relic that is going to consistently play down to opponents because it fails to exploit the talent advantage they have over 95% of the teams in the country. They basically looked the same way they'd have looked if Fromm hadn't decided he'd rather earn NFL practice squad money than play another year for Kirby.
