Why wouldn't you just keep filling your diaper in the other thread you started about this?

Sorry Karen, not everyone is scared for their lives. Some of us would like to save our businesses and livelihoods. My apologies for clogging up the board since there is so many sports going on to discuss.

You're a moron. Businesses shutting down affects you, whether you believe it does or not.

ETA: It's amazing how you don't see that your argument is a mirror image of the "can I speak to the manager" crowd. People who want the government out of their lives are the opposite of this.

I own and run short term rentals(Airbnb) in Tuscaloosa. The lockdown erased 95% of my revenue for the spring. Graduation is big for me. Concerts, campus events are huge for me. Football being cancelled would put me in a really tight spot

...That said, ill be fine but there are bar and restaurant owners that would be financially ruined by much more lockdown. There are gym owners, salon owners, etc that are up shite creek. Delaying till June is just unnacceptable. Even mid May is too long. We need to allow all businesses to open.

You act like we can just go ahead and take the risk and allow some people to die. What if I turn the tables and say we can let some businesses that can't absorb the hit die? Which of us is wrong?

As dumb as the politicians y'all elect are, they understand we can't be in lockdown forever. At some point, we have to say it's time to take whatever risk is left to get the economy back on track. Whether that's the best time for you really doesn't concern me much.

Now if you could stop tarding up the sports board with your crying, that'd be fantastic.

We can, and we will. We cannot keep the state or country closed long enough for there to be no risk of death from this virus.

I also highly doubt there will ever be no risk of death from this virus.

If you are at risk...stay locked in. Id say you are wrong. There are good treatments and the mortality rate among healthy people under 75 ibasically zero

This site really knows how to wear a good meme out. The whole Karen thing was funny when it was bitchy moms with short hair asking to speak to a manager.

The boomers and baws on this site have ruined it. And the worst part is, y'all aren't even clever about using it. It's a true waste.
