One player, Saivion Smith, is responsible for Lawrence and his WRs hype

Why couldnt he suck this bad when he played us. Why is it that average qb's turn into Tom Brady when they play us and there kicker is automatic to boot lol

@3down10 They got emotional and believed the media. And, some don't really know football.

He threw to wide open receivers all night long and our defense never put any pressure on him. Most of the yards came against Savion Smith, he was getting beat over and over all night long. They only managed 7 points after Savion left the game, but it's hard to say if they shut it down or what.

One of the worst called defensive games I've seen in the Saban era. They totally mailed it in.

Best news is Bama’s still the most recent dynasty, and that dynasty will continue if we can get a solid DC. Clemson has been exposed, and LSU will not be able to continue this success. Bama has the most talented roster in the west next season. It’s time for Saban’s third wind.

I wish Saban had strangled that cocksucker when he faked that injury. He's my least favorite bama player ever.

Savion Smith, the refs, and the entirety of the ACC conference.

They played a perfect game against us last year. Lawrence is not an impressive qb. We basically got Stephen Garcia'd again.

Their WRs won every 50/50 ball. They couldn’t drop a pass. Justyn Ross was incredible. He made some tough catches that made Sunshine’s numbers look better than they should have been.

I remember one particular pass that Ross jumped up and reached behind the defender to make a catch.

Looking back at last year’s title game, it’s easy to give the defense all sorts of hell. However last night, Lawrence didn’t start looking like garbage until the LSU offense started to click and put pressure on the Clemson O to keep up. That’s where we also failed last year. All of those failed trips to the red zone we had just allowed him to play with confidence.

We need to come to grips with the truth of last year's game, we stunk it up emotionally. We were out prepared, out coached and finally out hustled. And that happened on both sides of the LOS.

If LSU isn't taking that knee inside the 2-yard line to end the game, Clemson endures a 24 point beat down. The best thing that happened for Dabo last night was when LSU won the coin toss and deferred. The bad field position in the 1st quarter was about the only thing keeping it close in the first half.

Moral of the story, it's just plain hard to get your football team to repeat.

You should get their best game in the Natl Championships. But our def backs were horrible in that game. We are just going to have to get more physical on defense at every position. Thats on Saban. He has to make sure that tone is set.

I also give Coach Steve Superior part of the credit for Clemson's rise. He just got lazy and quit recruiting in South Carolina, and let Dabo take over. Then he just quit on his team in the middle of a season. That has to be the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen in the SEC. Now its going to be hard for South Carolina to get back and compete with them.
We need a good coach up there that will go head to head with them and take some of those recruits. North Carolina now has a coach, but Dabo has it way to easy up there.
