Stephen F. Austin beat Texas A&M in a closed scrimmage, 76-72. Could be a long long year for the Aggies.

SFA is legit.

In the past 6 years, they have won less than 27 games once.

Yep. I’ve heard all offseason they are a potential 30-win team. Bama has to play AT Stephen F Austin too. Every time I read an article about big non-conference games or something about tough scheduling, that game is mentioned. Pretty much everyone has said Alabama is really brave to schedule a game like that. Basically have given us props for it. Probably gonna be the hardest non conference game we play.

Not saying I agree/disagree but there are several other games that could be close games/upsets. I say this every year. This isn't football small schools are good at basketball too. I realized football will always be #1 but basketball helps pass the time during the offseason. The difference between MOST Bigger Schools and Smaller Schools is this: Smaller Schools Recruit BASKETBALL players, and MOST larger schools recruit athletes that they want to turn into basketball players.

Ready for some damn basketball. Watched Duke's exhibition game against Virginia Union the other night just to see some CBB action.

What it means is that federal prosecutor can now go after any person that pays an athlete to go to a school. With this case it is now a federal crime. If the ncaa doesnt go after Kansas and their coach, Bill Self, they are not going to do anything to anyone. They are the low hanging grapes.

This appears to be part of a wider crackdown on shoe company corruption in all sports from Olympics to FIFA to NCAA. Handshake boosters shouldn't be worried (plus wouldn't likely qualify as wirefraud)

Just would reiterate, the FBI is separating university from their athletic team/department. It's the only way their case to "defraud" works for most named schools

They aren't going to go after Kansas if they let North Carolina off Scot free.
