Up to #46 in RPI, highest we've been in RPI all season.

Q1 (1-50) : 5-8
Q2 (51-100) : 0-1
Q3 (101-150) : 6-1
Q4 (151-299) : 12-1

WarrenNolan has a prediction page and the wins/losses are goofy but the total is a good example

It has us going 33-23 (10-20). We'd finish 10-20 in the SEC......and we'd have a RPI of #36

I’ll take it.

I'd bet that 46 is the highest we've been since Gaspard.

#44 this morning

All 14 teams in the SEC are in the Top 50. That's frickin absurd.

Get ready to see that in basketball as well with all the hires. Softball has been that way for a couple of years too. Bohannon really had to like this job to take it, because along with rebuilding the baseball brand here, you're in a division with A&M, LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Mississippi State.

But more teams that play elite baseball, gives us more opportunities for some upsets. If Bohannon is as solid of a coach as we think, we'll be there soon. He's having a solid second season so far IMO.

Yep - if you are confident you can grind and get yourself out of the 8-22/7-23 type cellar, the strength of the SEC becomes a huge positive for your resume building. As long as your administration understands the difficulty of the job and the league and that a 16-14 league record is actually a helluva season.

I seem to recall back in 96 or 97 we scored like 23 on LSU. It was the year that we beat the junk out of them all year but lost the single game championship to give them the National Title.

Edit: Just checked the archives. We beat LSU 28-2 that game.

We’re going to take two out of three. I’m feeling it.

This. Wish I would have planned this weekend better, I would have went to the game in Starkville to check out their stadium.

We have a shot. Tennessee played them close last weekend and looked like they were about to take 2/3. Of course UT turned around and beat UGA last night. They’re playing pretty good ball right now.

We need to just hit that Magnum fella every other at bat or pitch around him. Don’t let him win the game. I don’t care if we’re up 1 in the ninth with two outs and runners on first and 2nd. Don’t even challenge him.

Gentry robs a HR in the 1st

Then leads off the 2nd with a que-shot double but is stranded there.

We’ve K’d 5 times in 2 innings. Brad is playing 4D chess making their guy throw a lot of pitches.

Bottom 2nd 0-0

We’ve made 2 errors in 2 innings..

I don’t care how the “score book” scores em.

Runners on the corners. 1 out.

Finnerty gives up a 3 run HR and it’s 4 nothing. Lucky to not be 5-0

We loaded the bases with no outs in the 3rd and then fanned three times.

We’ve K’d 11 times in 4 innings with our other out being a dribbler to 3rd by Breaux.

Finnerty settled down a little in the 3rd and 4th.

4-0 State, top 5

Need Sam to finish at least 6 innings.
