Well done 
Hoping that we're better and I can catch a game or two this season. Was hoping ADay would be 4/20 with Vandy at home being that day. Instead we'll be at Miss State on 4/13.

Man, gaspard blew that regional. Eliminates the host team. Loses to Kennesaw.
I guess it made up for somehow getting to within a game of the CWS in 2010 at the Clemson super regional.

As for the Kennesaw State loss, they had one pitcher who we just couldn't hit. He alone won that regional for them.

I always go back to late 90's living in Tuscaloosa and going to games with the super fan performing to Cotton Eyed Joe. That dude was awesome and I miss those years where Omaha was a real possibility.

I'm not really sure we're going to be good. I'm just hoping for improved. Looking at all of the preseason rankings (D1 Baseball, Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, Perfect Game) there are 9 SEC teams ranked in at least one poll. We are not one of them:
Vanderbilt
LSU
Florida
Georgia
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Arkansas
Auburn
Texas A&M
Add to the fact that every SEC West team except us is ranked, and I think we are probably predicted to be pretty bad by the experts. However, baseball rankings are very tough to compile from year-to-year, especially once you get past the top handful of teams. There is just so much turnover. Hopefully we will surprise.

I'll be satisfied with a trip to Hoover. The fact that Bohannon got last year's squad to win series on the road vs Kentucky and Mizzou tells me he's a good coach that'll gave Alabama back. Not to stay on last year's squad either, but they nearly won the series vs Mississippi State and Georgia. The sweeps vs Tennessee and Auburn (first time since we 1976) sucked, but can't expect Bohannon to do everything after what Goff and Gaspard left.
