Gotten to watch the team a bit more this year. Not a baseball expert by any means, but there is a lot more discipline at the plate than years past. Guys aren't just blindly swinging because it's a 3-2 count. Much better eye for the ball and feel for what the pitcher wants to throw. Still, this team will probably struggle in SEC play because of the talent deficiency and youth, but Bohannon has me excited.

The approach is light years better than the old days with Andy and Gaspard.

That was one of the best offensive at bats Bama has had on the season. Took advantage and pushed runs across with basehits and sacrifices. Outs were hard hits.

Reeves, Ras, Gentry, Freeman and Robinson are all fun to watch work. I don’t know how many of these guys return next year but if they return the bulk of this team I expect they’ll make a run
