Gmac and the aubie were discussing the plays in the red zone. Of course the first time, our QB got under center and fumbled the ball trying to run a power play. But Cublic said most of those plays were RPOs and the QB pulled the ball out and passed. He said the offensive line was firing out on those plays, which means the play was a run play unless the QB saw something and decided to pass. We could just do away with the pass option, but I dont think they want to put BY under center on the road. And, it just makes it hard for the O line to get an advantage if he isnt under center. The defense knows when we are going to snap the ball just as well as we do.

In the past when there has been a misfire on hiring coaches Saban has been able to work around them. This year with what appears to be three questionable hires it might be too much to overcome.

Aside from Saturday night I really haven’t seen a problem with BOB, inexperience at key positions yes , but not bad on offense

Even before the loss we were lacking creativity in play execution and build/setup.

I will admit part of the blame is on Bryce for being allergic to throwing accurate deep balls.

However with that said BOB isn't using motion enough or setting things up pre-snap to make the mismatch occur after.

Aside from Williams I don’t see a lot of mismatches . The WRs we are playing right now are not really YAC guys . The bubble screens, jet motion , flat throws , are not nearly as effective as they have been the last few years . Bryce has to hit or at least take more deep balls to open it up a little . To be fair to him and BOB, the last few years we could run guys deep across the field on slow developing routes and have plenty of time ….. not this year
