Dang good coach we have coming in. Should be some exciting play as well. Can’t wait for him to get more of his type players in here - specifically guys that can run the court fast and launch some 3s.

Yeah, to not have Pearl (at least) is eye opening. His reputation still stinks to many. I actually like the guy - he just pushes the envelope for his program. Nothing wrong with that - if you don’t get caught.

Now St. John's is looking for a HC too. Bama hiring Oats that quick was a blessing. I bet Nate was Greg's man from day one.

St Johns isn’t looking for a coach. Oats has yet to coach Big Boy Basketball. There is a strong chance he is more likely to be the next Anthony Grant than the next big thing. He gets a mulligan for year one. After that it is tournament or get shown the door.

I’m willing to give the man 4yrs. You start running off coaches after 2yrs good luck on finding a decent replacement.
