Why are they acting like the end zone PI on Devonta wasn’t at worst a 50-50 call? Sure the refs were letting our corners be physical but they should when half of UGAs throws to the outside were fades

It wasn't even that. The defender, with his back to the ball and not even looking for it, pushed Devonta off his route to the ball while the ball was in the air.

what got the flag was not the first push in the chest.
But the second one after the ball was in the Air.
Then Smitty did make an attempt to locate and reach for the ball.
All that combined with the DB not turning to look for the ball got the call.
With all that said if the Ref also noted unlike Danielson,saying both were pushing throughout the route.
That the DB was allowed the first contact within the first 5 yrds.Its again the second push in the chest.

The DB intentionally pushed him out of bounds, totally impeding his ability to catch the ball. The DB wasn't looking for the ball. Multiple replays showed all of that clearly. The PI call was 100% correct. Good job by the official who called it.
