Yup. It is mind blowing that an award named after Coach Bryant has gone to 3 x AU coaches, 3 x to Dabo Swinney, and even one to future OC, BoB, since the last time Saban won it.
The Bryant Award has ignored a complete program rebuild and 6 x NCs in 4 years.

on 1/13/21 at 8:21 pm to armytide373He should have at least won it in 2009 for taking Bama back to the heights of the national championship. Instead they gave it to Peterson, Boise State for beating up all those small schools.
And then, in 2015 they gave it to Dabo for losing the CFP to Alabama.
In 2017, UCF's Scott Frost got it because Disney declared them the national champions that year.
