Not only are guys like Smitty and Najee faster but we have our physicality back. In the past we would normally knock a few opposing players out.

As someone who started his professional career in this field, I have pushed this as the best hires of Saban’s career. So many of our “failed seasons” were due to injuries piling up. Our resiliency has been extraordinary this season compared to past ones

I mean... we were missing Waddle, Moore, Dickerson, Trey Sanders, and Devonta got injured.
LaBryan Ray spent a lot of time injured, and apparently a lot of guys like Metchie and Dylan Moses were playing through pain all year.

I'm not saying this is the staff's fault, but we still had a ton of injuries this year

Hell yea. Our S&C need to play 3D chess and ensure people don't drive cars.

To be fair, you certainly can’t blame them for Trey Sanders getting in a car accident in Tampa. Also Moses was already injured, though he may have re-aggravated it. And I don’t know what training staff could keep Ray on the field.

To me the biggest difference is the lack of soft tissue injuries. Bone breaks, concussions, etc are going to happen, you can’t control those. But knee and ankle ligament injuries, hamstrings, quads, shoulders to a limited extent. That stuff can be helped by proper training, and it seems like we saw a down tick in those types of injuries this year.

lol I forgot about that. I wasn't saying that to blame the S&C staff, just replying to the "we avoided the injury bug" part
