If this were a normal season, he could arguably be our best RB ever. Derrick holds that right now, but Najee is smoothly up there.

Henry was/is just an absolute freak and a hell of a runner, but one could argue that Najee is the best all-around RB, in terms of running ability, blocking, receiving, and athleticism. The only thing that really holds him back from being a clear #1 is a degree of lane-elusiveness and breakaway speed.

That Henry wins, easily, at breakaway speed at his size and strength just isn't fair. He makes NFL defenders look silly sometimes.

Which also wold give him the record for most points during the season, passing Henry.

Also he would not have been pulled early in a few games this year he probably finished atop with the most career & season 100 rushing yds games.

Najee is a great player. Alabama is incredibly fortunate that he decided to return. He in all honesty should be playing on Sundays right now but his leadership will never be questioned after this year. His ability as a receiver trumps Henry in my opinion. Henry has better speed but Najee is an awesome pass receiver.

Henry is one of the faster RB in the NFL, period. You don’t even need the “for his size” qualifier.

Najee has had such a better career than I ever imagined after his first couple of years. He’s been crazy good the past two seasons.
