Yep - go back and watch old videos of even Alabama under Stallings. There was WAY more high-stepping, dancing, TD moves/dances, etc. than today because it was allowed.

This.

Anyone remember the Sherman Shake or Derrick Lassic's heart attack celebration? That's to say nothing of George Teague high-stepping the ball into the end zone. Celebrations used to be much more common place 30 years ago than they are now.

and of course Metchie's move is an actual "football move" but I choose to believe that it was a nod to Teague in 92 against Miami. I'd never seen him do it previously.

Does he even know who George Teague is?

You are right, society changes and depends what part of the country you are living in. Most of the wild things started on the west coast and slowly (and fast in some cases) moved to the south. There was a time that if you got in trouble at school, your parents were totally embarrassed and you got worn out when you got home. We never considered it abuse. It was GOOD PARENTING.

So Landon Dickerson's taunting last year is because of bad parenting?

You sound even more bitter than those LSU fans

LOL, you sure can read a lot into something. I was responding to someone else's comments, that had nothing to do with your comments. Have a great day ROLL TIDE

Okay, old man. I'm just glad you can accept these new times and all the bad parenting hasn't made you stop watching.
