So I guess we hate Greg McElroy now the way we hate Jay Barker because he doesn't suck Alabama's dick like a good alum should?

Or, it's because McElroy goes out of his way to not appear to be biased towards Alabama which at times has led him to saying some stupid things.

I have my gripes about Greg, but Greg has a lot more integrity than Jay Barker.

I really didn't like him very much in studio or on radio, but I think he does a pretty good job on games. I feel like there is a lot less of the over the top try hardness that I really disliked.
Their crew is really solid too.

I think it's worth remembering that he's only 31 years old and has only been in broadcasting for five years. I think he does pretty well considering that.

G-Mac's gameday assignments are good enough. His best game was this year when he did the Alabama 10th year celebration of our natty. A funny, self-deprecating look at his 2009 season. It just didn't feel that funny at the time.
