Major Tennison arrested on marijuana charge

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama tight end Major Tennison was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana -- a Class A misdemeanor -- according to the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office.
Tennison remains in jail, and bond was set at $300.
The freshman tight end appeared in five games for the Crimson Tide this past season and caught two passes for 30 yards. He arrived at Alabama as a 4-star recruit in the 2017 recruiting cycle, per the 247Sports Composite.

Well until they do, it's illegal. The kids know this yet possess it anyway knowing it is wrong. This is a character issue, one that could negatively influence their life if they chose to keep going with it.
Regardless of how we feel about it being legalized, it isn't.

Not that I partake or anything but with the prices of weed these days why risk getting that shite confiscated and your arse thrown in jail? Don’t ride around while smoking it nor carry it around everywhere you go. Keep that shite in a secure location and be smart with how and where you smoke it

Been out plenty. When you know something is illegal and you do it anyway, that is a character issue with your ability to negotiate between right and wrong. I'm sorry you think pot should be legal but it isn't, and until it is, they need to abide by the law if they are part of the program. I expect more out of our players. I am held to the same standard and don't seem to have these issues.

I'd guess around 75% of our players smoke weed at least occasionally.
